Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

2 Timothy 2:15 - Be diligent to present yourself Approved to God, a Worker who does Not need to be Ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Awana is a fully integrated evangelism and discipleship programs for ages 2 to 18 that actively involve parents, church leaders and mentors. Each week, more than a million children and youth, 250,000 volunteers and 300-plus field staff take part in Awana in over 17,000 churches in the U.S. and internationally.

Faith Baptist Awana club meets Sunday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  Cubbies, Sparks, T&T, Trek and Journey are offered.  Awana club offers a time to play games, time for a message and a time to study the Word of God one on one with a trained leader.  This one on one time is when young people can demonstrate their study of the Word and it being hidden in their heart.

Workers for Awana are always sought.  Please stop by after club starts and inquire about what it is all about!

We'd love to have you come and join us.  We are here to reach young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him.

 Missionaries

The Central and Eastern Awana Ministry area covers 2/3 of the state of Missouri. There are over two million people in the area that Mark and Marjorie Schoonover minister in, many of which are children and teenagers who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a tremendous opportunity God has given churches and their Awana Clubs!

Mark and Marjorie Schoonover are privileged to serve as the Awana Missionaries. As missionaries, they are committed to carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. Their role is to support the ministry of the churches in their area. They are faith missionaries, supported financially only by the gifts of the churches and leaders they serve.
