Our Student Ministry exists to help students learn to live and love like Jesus and to invite and lead others to do the same.

2024 CONSENT & MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
All students need to have a completed and signed "Consent & Medical Release" form on file before they can participate or attend any off-site student ministry activities or events. We've made a change this year, instead of doing individual forms for each event, we are doing a blanket form for the entire calendar year.
UPCOMING EVENTS
ESCAPE ROOM / KARAOKE NIGHT
Do you like escape rooms? Do you like karaoke? What would it be like to combine them? Well Faith Students is going to find out. Join us for a great time of logic, music, and fun. This is how this will work. We are going to set up 2 escape rooms in the church. While a couple of groups are trying to get out of the escape rooms, the rest of us will be singing karaoke and playing games. Everyone will get a chance to do an escape room and sing karaoke. DATE & TIME: Saturday, April 13, 2024, 1:00-4:00pm LOCATION: At the church COST: FREE |
FUNDRAISERS
We know the cost of sending a student or multiple students on mission or to camp can be a financial burden to families. To help offset the cost of our big summer trips, we have several fundraisers every year to raise money to help our families.
Fundraisers are open to any student who attends student ministry programs or events on a regular basis. We consider any student who comes at least one a month to be a regular attender.

TIME WARP TRIVIA NIGHT - SAT. MAR. 16
Faith Students is hosting a trivia night for our church family. Church members will be encouraged to purchase tables of six for a night of food, fun, fellowship, and trivia. Each table is responsible for bringing their own food, but the student ministry will provide drinks. Childcare is also provided. The students will be serving as waiters, taking drink orders for the tables and getting anything they need. They will also collect answer sheets at the end of each round. Some students will also be helping with childcare . Students will need to arrive at 4pm to help set-up the worship center. Doors open at 4:30 and trivia will begin at 5:00. Students will then need to help clean up and put the worship center back for Sunday morning services. Every student needs to bring two 2-liters of soda. All proceeds are divided evenly among the students who participate to help offset the cost of mission trip or camp this summer. |
PULLED PORK DINNER - SUN. MAY 5
This is our annual pulled pork fundraiser. Several of our leaders and parents smoke pork butts which the students then serve to church members after the morning services. We normally serve pulled pork, buns, green beans, baked beans, and chips. Church members pick-up their lunch and take it home to eat. Students serve the church members after church and then help clean up when we are done. We also do a bake sale if any students or their parents would like to bring a baked dessert. All proceeds are divided evenly among the students who participate to help offset the cost of mission trip or camp this summer. |
STUDENTS GOT TALENT - SUN. MAY 19
S.G.T. is our annual talent show where students get to display their God-given abilities, all for His glory. Since we are seeking to glorify God with our talents, we ask that all songs be Christian in content. Students are limited to one solo act and one group act. DATE: Sunday, May 19 TIMES: 6:00-8:00pm LOCATION: Worship Center We accept donations from church members at SGT. Proceeds are distributed evenly among talent show participants and help to offset the cost of mission trip or camp this summer. |
STUDENT MINISTRY EVENT RULES
We understand teenagers are teenagers and we don't want to hound them with tons of rules. However, we do believe some basic ground rules keep our events from devolving into a "Lord of the Flies" situation. All participants and their parents/ guardians must be aware of the expected order of conduct for Faith Baptist Church Student Ministry events. Failing to adhere to the following rules could result in the student’s early dismissal from an event at the parent/guardian’s expense.
